Details: Ultra Spec Cables 1310nm/1550nm 1 x 2 Optical Coupler Cable is designed to split light from the input port to the into the output ports at a 50:50 ratio. Being that there is only one input port they're intended for simple use or cable management applications. In contrast to WDMs they're typically not recommended or utilized for beam combining practices. The unused port is terminated internally within the housing in a method which minimizes back reflection. Since it's un-terminated you have the flexibility of using the connector required for specific port designations. The leads are jacketed in 900um tubing and are 54mm long. They're perfect for use in Telecommunications FTTH and with Fiber Gyros Amplifiers Sensors Research and Testing Instruments.
