It's manufactured from high-quality, sturdy aluminum and the powder coated finish provides an added level of durability, while protecting the enclosure from corrosion. It weighs 3.90 pounds and measures 1.75" H (1U) x 17" W x 9.5" D. The 24 un-populated slots provide the flexibility of mixing and matching various fiber connectors and types into one enclosure, which helps to better organize multiple connections and streamline cable management. The slots accept flanged SC Simplex or LC Duplex Couplers, which makes them easily interchangeable as your needs change or grow. The front panel slides out to provide quick access which is paramount during the initial installation or routine maintenance. The angled and straight openings on the rear of the unit allow cables to enter and exit the unit safely for horizontal cable routing. The built-in splice trays arrange and store the spliced fiber efficiently and the accessory pack consisting of mounting brackets and hardware, cable ties, cable glands, splice sleeves and screws (for the SC/LC couplers (not included)) help keep the connections tidy and organized.
