Details: Ultra Spec Cable's Waterproof Fiber Optic Pigtail is used to connect main optical cable lines and receivers in communication systems. They're ideal for harsh conditions, being both waterproof and armored. While they're easy to install, they offer a long service life due to their durable construction and high tensile strength. One end of the cable is blunt, so it can be easily spliced to the trunk, backbone or outside plant cable and the other end is terminated with 2 machine polished FC-APC Connectors which connect to the end equipment. Once installed, the pigtail is fully secured when the connection screw is tightened, to insure dependable performance and resistance to pull. Each cable is fully inspected and contains a test report. Our pigtails are also available with different connectors, polishes and strand counts.
