Details: Our Field Installable Connector Prep and Test Kit provides a quick and simple solution to onsite installations, hybrid solutions, routine maintenance or emergency repairs. The user-friendly connectors are pre-stubbed with a machine polished ferrule, so there's no need for hand polishing in the field. The fiber is aligned using precision splice technology and index-matching gel to yield low insertion loss, high return loss and exceptional performance. The kit includes 10 each of Singlemode SC, FC and LC Connectors to meet a range of termination requirements. Due to the comprehensible usability of the connectors, only minimal tools are needed to complete the installation, so we've included the basic instruments to simplify the process one step further. The precision cleaver is portable, reliable and has a long blade life. The 3 Hole Fiber Optic Stripper and Splice Tool both have secure, textured grips and can execute all standard fiber tasks. The Length Rail secures the cable in place while you're working on it and the empty bottle is good for most general cleaning applications, since it's compatible with a variety of solvents. The Optical Power Meter is easily operated, supports multiple wavelengths and has a backlit display. The Visual Fault Tester provides steady power output, varying light functions and it's pen design fits comfortably in your hand. We include both the SC Adapter, along with an FC/LC Adapter, so that you're able to test all three connector types. Batteries are included for each tester, so they're ready for use (not pictured). A quick assembly guide is included that provides visual/written instructions to complete the terminations in very little time.
