Details: Ultra Spec Cables WDM 3 Port C + L Band Optical Circulator Cable is designed to redirect light from port to port in sequence and only in one order since they are non-reciprocal. The 3 Port SC/UPC WDM Cable routes signals traveling in opposite directions over the fiber from one port to the next so bi-directional transmission can be achieved over a single fiber. By installing one at each end of your 2 Fiber TX/RX Network you are able to free up one fiber by utilizing bi-direction network traffic over a singular fiber. It's constructed to provide high isolation between the varying wavelengths with minimal excess loss. The 900um jackets protect the inner fiber and the dust caps shield the end faces from contaminants that potentially damage the fiber connectors. The exceptional channel to channel uniformity accuracy and stability also make it perfect for use in Communications Dispersion Compensation DWDM/OADM Systems EDFA and measurement/test applications.
